A Traditional Wreath-Making Workshop at Montgomery’s Inn

Step into a piece of Toronto’s history and celebrate the season with a cozy and creative wreath-making workshop hosted by Sweetpea & Rose in proud partnership with Montgomery’s Inn.

Built in the 1830s to shelter travelers and gather communities, Montgomery’s Inn has always been a place of connection — over food, stories, music, and tradition. Nearly 200 years later, we’re honouring that spirit by bringing people together through craft and creativity.

Led by Danielle Pagura of Sweetpea & Rose — known for her sold-out workshops at Old Mill Toronto — and creative partner Kiara, this experience blends timeless holiday charm with the unique atmosphere of one of the city’s most beloved heritage sites.

What to Expect

You’ll be guided step-by-step in creating your own fresh holiday wreath on an 18” frame, using lush seasonal greenery, branches, and traditional accents. Whether you're a seasoned DIY-er or just looking for a meaningful seasonal activity, you'll leave with a handcrafted wreath that’s perfect for your door, mantle, or as a heartfelt gift.

Set against the backdrop of the Inn’s historic interiors, this is more than just a workshop — it’s a celebration of craft, community, and holiday cheer in a place where stories and traditions live on.

What’s Included:

  • Full instruction from experienced floral designers

  • Materials to make your fresh traditional wreath, including:

    • Sheers for the table (1 per 2 guests to share)

    • Fresh winter greens (an assortment of available varieties. please note: greens can get sticky)
